MySpace TV has announced that it has signed a content distribution agreement with ShineReveille. The new international partnership will allow ShineReveille “to distribute MySpace TV series’ over TV and on DVD to an international audience.”
As part of the deal, MySpace TV can continue to distribute content in the United States and maintains all international web and mobile distribution rights. ShineReveille is a distributor of “a broad array of programming from independent producers and U.S. networks around the world in 150 different territories.”
Travis Katz, Managing Director of International for MySpace added in a statement, “MySpace provides the creative community with a launch pad to virally test and distribute content to the world’s largest focus group. MySpaceTV has quickly become Hollywood’s digital playground and our relationship with ShineReveille opens up the globe to MySpace’s international content creators.”

Apple has once again announced that it is expanding its iPhone network to new markets, this time to new markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Recently the company announced deals for distribution in Italy, Latin America and Australia and India and there still seem to be deals in the works for the popular device.
Orange the cell phone carrier said it did not want to divulge too much but did say the countries part of the new distribution deal are Belgium, Egypt, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, the Dominican Republic, Jordan, Romania, Slovakia, Senegal, Cameroon, Botswana, Madagascar, Mali, Reunion, Kenya and Mauritius.
Orange, a subsidiary of France Telecom has 172 million registered customers over five continents and says that over 120 million are Orange customers.
Analysts have expressed doubt that the iPhone will sell well in Africa and many feel it is a risky move to distribute there. The average income of individuals in many African nations is significantly lower then say, people in European nations and the phone is sometimes even too expensive for those individuals.

The Spanish company Telefonica has announced it will distribute the iPhone to 16 countries in Latin America and the Czech Republic after striking a deal with Apple.

“The 16 countries where we will distribute the iPhone have a market potential of 500 million people, making us one of the global leaders in the distribution of these revolutionary handsets,” Telefonica Chairman Cesar Alierta said in a statement.
Telefonica already sells the phone in the UK and Ireland through O2 and will begin selling the device in Spain on July 11th.
The 16 new countries are the Czech Republic, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Unlike its current markets however, the new markets will not be exclusive for Telefonica as America Movil has already signed a deal to distribute the phone in most of those countries.
