We have been reporting recently on the new ultraportable Dell Adamo XPS, which promises to be almost half the size of its main competitor, the Macbook Air.
Last week, Bloomberg Business Week released the price, which was a not so thin $2000 USD.
Engadget has revealed some more specs for the ultraportable today, although none has been confirmed by Dell.
There will be 1.4 or 1.9GHz dual-core Intel ULV processors, an integrated X4500MHD video card, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and the LED-backlit screen will measure 13.4-inches. For capacity, the Adamo XPS will have either a 128GB or 180GB SSD (solid state drive.) The batteries are only expected to have a measly 2-4 hour life.
We will keep you updated.

According to a new analysis by The NPD Group, Amazon’s MP3 store is having little to no effect on the flourishing success of the iTunes store.
The study revealed that only a measly 10 percent of all Amazon MP3 users are iTunes converts and that the majority are new to direct digital downloads. NPD entertainment analyst Russ Crupnick feels that the report shows that the new stores don’t necessarily draw customers away from the behemoth that is iTunes.
Amazon currently sits in fourth among all US music sales and “claims just a tenth of the sales volume at its online store,” the study adds. Amazon is behind Best Buy, Wal-Mart and iTunes and will need to “significantly increase its digital sales rate to surpass the higher-ranked stores” reads the study.
Amazon has seen its store grow on a couple of chief principles. It sells some songs for cheaper (89 cents) than iTunes, all tracks are DRM-free, and the store can be accessed on any modern operating system.

Recently showed off at the Display 2008 expo trade show in Japan, Sony has introduced new “ultra-thin” OLED display televisions that are even thinner than its current XEL-1 model.
The XEL-1, which is currently the industry-leading OLED display is 11-inches,and measures 1.4mm (0.06in) thick. The new display model showed off will measure 0.3mm, a huge improvement from the current model.
Sony says that thanks to a “new TFT substrate and less glass, the same resolution of 960×540 pixels is possible despite the reduction in dimensions.”
Even more impressive, but nowhere near commercial production, is a thinner 3.5-inch prototype display that measures a measly 0.2mm (0.008in) and features a 320×220 pixel resolution. The display will most likely be used in media devices or even mobile phones.
