According to Digitimes, HTC is preparing a 5-inch smartphone for September or October.
The device will feature a huge 1794×1080 pixel display and will become the company’s flagship.
There was nothing else revealed about the phone, although it is sure to have a quad-core processor and LTE support.
With a screen of that size, HTC will be competing against Samsung and their Galaxy Note line, as well as LG and their latest Optimus Vu.
We will have more updates when they hit.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is finally ready for Windows Phone 7.5.
Nokia’s flagship device will not be getting the upgrade to Windows Phone 8 this fall, but AT&T has promised it will be getting the watered down version, firmware 7.8, after 7.5.
AT&T would only say the update was being readied “in the coming weeks,” which could be a large range.
Additionally, the carrier is adding a usage tracking counter and “new contact sharing feature.”
Finally, the phone will soon be available in pink.
