According to AppleInsider, the second generation iPad tablet will likely have a camera, a feature shockingly missing from the first version.
Citing a document of Apple’s iPad management policies, the site says there will be an ability to disable the use of the camera. As we know, there is no camera on the current generation model.
Additionally, the site cites a recent job listing from Apple for a “Performance QA Engineer, iPad Media” wherein the description says “we are looking for a software quality engineer with a strong technical background to test still, video and audio capture and playback frameworks.”
Applicants can then “build on your QA experience and knowledge of digital camera technology (still and video) to develop and maintain testing frameworks for both capture and playback pipelines.”
The second generation model iPad will likely offer a front-facing camera with FaceTime video conferencing support.

According to BusinessWeek, RIM is preparing to release its still unconfirmed BlackPad tablet in November.
Earlier in the week, the smartphone company registered BlackPad.com, with the domain being purchased by CSC, a company that specializes in corporate branding, on behalf of RIM.
The two sources claim the BlackPad will have a 9.7-inch screen, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tech that will allow users to connect to the Web via their BlackBerry smartphones.
“They can’t wait for a second generation of devices from Apple or they’ll fall too far behind,” says Rodman and Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar.
Pricing will be “in line” with that of the iPad, which begins at $500 USD.

California-based Tzero Technologies has demonstrated its new second generation ZeroWire in Tokyo. The new ZeroWire enables wireless HDMI transmission with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, which is able to transfer Full HD (1080p) resolution video at 60 frames per second. The product is at first targeted at Japanese market, but has passed the regulatory tests in Europe and the U.S. as well.
Tzero calls ZeroWire the first commercially viable wireless HDMI solution with an estimated material cost of less than $50. It support HDMI 1.3a and HDCP and therefore is “Hollywood Approved”, according to the press release. With 480 Mbit bandwidth the ZeroWire is able to transmit Full HD resolution video and 7.1 digital surround audio at ranges greater than 20 meters.
Due to its higher bandwidth the rival WirelessHD is a more viable option for future technologies. WirelessHD supports theoretical data rates of up to 20Gbps but is limited by the 10.2 Gbit bandwidth of the wired HDMI 1.3a.
